The Gist:

Simultaneously humorous, poignant, and impossible to put down, this is the story of a girl who must summon the strength to save her family, her social life and—hardest of all—herself.

Another 1 sitting read added to my shelf. This book is greatness. I laughed, I cried, I caught myself doing that goofy smile at several points throughout the book. I love each and every character in this book and their roles are perfect.

Marchetta's writing is flawless. one of the few authors I can say that about from my reads this year. I recommend this to anyone to loves perfect writing and wonderful storytelling.

I can relate to every character and every emotion presented. I think I love it so much based on the realistic nature. I really can't put my finger on one specific reason I loved this so much, but I will be reading all of her other books now.
